Our goal is to help your whole family realize your ideal health, weight, and energy through eating whole food. We want you to live your best life!

How we started
Like many ventures, this one started because we couldn’t find something that we needed.
Ashley fell in love with a Mediterranean Diet style of eating after having her first child. She found that the Mediterranean Diet gave her amazing energy and weight management, as well as the confidence that she was giving her family the best chance at a healthy life. What she did not find, however, were Mediterranean Diet inspired resources and recipes that worked for families.
Ashley met Jamie, a registered dietitian with a wealth of experience using Mediterranean Diet principles to help kids of all ages and nutritional needs. What we do now
We are all about providing you with real value! Our goals are to:
- Educate you on Mediterranean Diet inspired living through blog posts, social media, and guides
- Support you on your journey through nutrition coaching, accountability group offerings, and our weekly “Ask the Dietitian” segment on social media
- Build a community of families seeking optimal health in our private Facebook Group

Jamie is a registered dietitian specializing in pediatric oncology, a yoga instructor, and a lover of dark chocolate. Jamie provides nutritional guidance for meal plans and recipes and answers your questions on Instagram and Facebook. Fun fact: Jamie came up with the name “Mediterranean Movement”. Ashley is a Mom of 3, a Mediterranean Diet aficionado, and a business expert with a technology background. Ashley loves to create and photograph mouth-watering recipes, brainstorm new content for our website, and connect with you on social media! Fun fact: The DSLR camera that takes most of our pictures was a baby shower gift from Ashley’s sister. More about Ashley here.

Our Vision for the Future
We want to be part of changing the world for the better! We believe that lifestyle modification can be the answer to some of the problems that plague many people in our society. For example, a recent study from the American Cancer Society notes that modifiable lifestyle choices contribute to more than 1/3 of cancer incidents and deaths. Together we can change some of these statistics.
